Weird, he really liked him when they first met. Brian's son, Dylan, returned to Quahog to try and bond with Brian. When I first saw this episode, I thought that it was absolutely terrible. Brian's A Bad Father - Remember when I said Brian has his bad moments? This is another one. This episodes just sends a terrible message. And the fact that he lied throughout the majority of the episode makes it worse. So Brian just changes Meg's religion completely with no regrets. This hurts Meg, and she ignores her Christian beliefs. And then he goes on, saying that if there was a God, he wouldn't have made Meg look ugly and live in a horrible family. Really? And then, when meg takes Brian to burn books that "hurt God", Brian admits that he lied, and says that Meg is wrong. However, since Brian has become the outcast of Quahog, he lies to Meg, saying that he has decided to be a Christian, just so that he can drink again. So in the beginning, it seems as if Meg is the bad guy. Because of that, he is a social outcast and is banned from every bar. Now this would make sense, considering that Meg told the entire town the Brian is an atheist. In this episode, he forced Meg to give up her religion and become an atheist. And one of those moments is in "All Dogs Go To Heaven". Not All Dogs Go To Heaven - Well, I'm going to get trashed for this, but here is something you don't know about me:īut as we all know, he has had his terrible moments. Because who doesn't want to see what? Also, I have to bring up that there is a clip of "Dancing In the Street" right in the middle of it that goes on FOREVER. They make out a little and Brian moves on, but Meg grows obsessed, cured of her inappropriate crush only after a surprisingly earnest heart-to-heart with Quagmire. Brian gets extremely drunk at the prom and unleashes a barrage of putdowns so cruel and accurate to Meg's bully that Meg falls in love with Brian. Meg can't get a date for the junior prom, and Brian, in a rare moment of sympathy, offers to take the person who is essentially his sister to the dance. Meg Griffin is almost always the butt of the joke and the target of seething derision on "Family Guy." In the 2006 episode "Barely Legal," Meg gets to be the star of the episode, and viewers realize the darkly funny depths of just how starved she is for attention and affection.
